This product is a large lot of Southwestern jewelry featuring turquoise and silver. The pieces are inspired by Native American and Mexican craftsmanship, showcasing a unique Southwestern style. The mixed lot includes sterling silver, silver plate, solid copper, and copper plate metals, all set with turquoise blue and green stones. Each piece is handmade and vintage, adding to its authentic charm.

Most of the silver pieces are sterling and hallmarked as such. Those not marked have been acid tested and most were sterling with some testing as coin silver oe even 800.  Three pieces I would like to mention as not being silver are the necklace with the large silver tone balls, the Eagle Head SSI buckle, and the concho silver tone belt  which did not test as silver. The turquoise and coral stone are authentic.

I do want to point out that the heavy sterling silver necklace with all the turquoise stones has two strands of beads. The shorter strand has been restrung. The earrings include screw back, snap back, and post. Backs are included.

This mixed lot includes sterling silver necklaces, shell necklaces ( Santo Doming Pueblo), and several bird fetish necklaces. Some very heavy men’s turquoise rings are included. There are also pins, pendants, mounted and unmounted bolo slides, and a sterling key ring with turquoise and coral decoration. Unusual pieces like a copper plated belt and other copper pieces adds some variety.  You’ll also find some belts with an outdoor and western flair. They didn’t make it into the first photo but they appear in a later photo and one is a Tom Taylor with sterling silver buckle, tip, and stays. Three unique pieces is a copper plated Buffalo, an enameled figure of Kokopelli, and a polished silver Bear fetish by Dansk. Finally there is a necklace, bracelet, and earring set made by Theresa Yellow Horse. She is a Sioux Native American of South Dakota.

Weights on some of the larger pieces are:
The heavy squash blossom style sterling silver necklace weighs 160 grams and marked LT.
The sterling silver water fall necklace weighs 36 grams.
The largest sterling silver bear fetish pendant weighs 16 grams and is on a 32” sterling chain.

Other notes:
  • The Concho silver colored belt is not silver.
  • The Buffalo is copper plated.
  • The little round pill box has abolone decoration on the top.
  • Both bolo slides are made by Bennett.
  • The heavy sterling necklace with turquoise is made by  Lee Thomson.
